Around the same month last year, Centro Manufacturing Corporation unveiled seven modern jeepney prototypes at the Eco PUV Showcase. This time, being one of the biggest providers of truck bodies in the country, Centro is ready to reveal another four huge surprises in the 2018 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS).
The company hasn’t revealed the exact details yet regarding its new product lineup, but Centro has already secured a big booth to display its forthcoming vehicles. Also, three out of its four vehicles are the fruitful results of its partnership with Nippon Fruehauf, one of the leading wing van manufacturers in Japan. The fourth one, on the other hand is Centro’s version of mass transport vehicle that will serve as a support to the government’s PUV modernization program.
These forthcoming vehicles is expected to pump up the domestic logistics and mass transport industries. Centro has also voiced out that the domestic logistic industry is inclined to increase around nine percent to 16 percent by 2020.
“Centro is ready to support this growth with vehicle solutions. If the Duterte Administration finishes the various bridges that will interconnect Luzon to Visayas to Mindanao, that will further spur the overland transport of goods using either cargo vans, wing vans or refrigerated vans.”
Centro has always been committed in developing new concepts such as the Isuzu I-van, Mitsubishi L300 VX, and the recently released NF wing van. With the approaching introduction of new vehicles at the PIMS 2018, Centro expects to be seen as the market innovator and game changer in the industry.
This most-awaited annual car show is happening at the World Trade Center starting from October 24 to 28, 2018.
