In conjunction with Honda Cars Philippines, Inc.’s participation at the 2018 PIMS, the Japanese carmaker presented its Small RS Concept, which is very much in line with the motor show’s theme ‘Future of Mobility’ this year. With a quick glimpse at this hot hatchback, it appears as the next-generation Brio, injected with an athletic DNA.
The Small RS is purposely designed for customers that are young at heart. This concept car brags a sportier exterior, covered in orange paint thus making it appeal more outgoing. It’s built in small platform with vents on fenders, complemented with all-black alloy wheels. Adding to its overall look is the faux diffuser and a huge rear spoiler. There are no details yet if Honda has plans in bringing the new generation Brio in the Philippines, but the appearance of the Small RS Concept might be a great hint, don’t you think?
Apart from the cool-looking concept car, Honda also presented its current lineup that boasts its advanced technologies, matched with sporty characteristics. Patrons of PIMS can expect the Honda City, which is the carmaker’s top-selling model in the Philippines. This subcompact sedan comes with various safety features like Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist, and six airbags.
Also showcased at the 7th edition of PIMS is the Honda BR-V, which comes second to the City in terms of units sold, making it one of the most competitive nameplates in the subcompact SUV segment.
PIMS goers this year would also witness the seven-seater CR-V that brags advanced safety and driver assist systems including the Honda Sensing. This system comes with numerous features such as adaptive cruise control with low speed follow, collision mitigation braking system, lane keep assist, road departure mitigation, forward collision warning, and lane departure warning.
