Geely EX2 PIMS 2026

The 10th Philippine International Motor Show had no shortage of debuts, but Geely Motor Philippines turned heads with the local unveiling of the EX2, its latest all-electric hatchback and arguably its most accessible EV yet for Filipino buyers.

Positioned as the brand's entry point into electric mobility, the EX2 comes in two variants, the Pro and the Max, both riding on the same mechanical foundation. Under the hood (well, not literally) sits a single electric motor good for 85 kW, or about 113 hp, and 150 Nm of torque. Nothing wild on paper, but this is a city-focused hatchback after all, so that's more than enough grunt for daily driving.

Power comes from a 39.4 kWh CATL lithium iron phosphate battery shared across both trims. On the WLTP cycle, Geely claims up to 325 km of range, which puts it in decent territory for urban commuters who won’t rely on it for extremely long road trips. Plug it into an AC charger and you're looking at roughly 6.5 hours to go from 10 to 100 percent.

Inside, you probably won’t believe it costs less than P1.1 million with a 14.6-inch touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay, a 540-degree camera system, and a 50W wireless charging pad. Ventilated and power-adjustable front seats, leather upholstery, ambient lighting, and automatic climate control with rear vents round out the feature list. For an entry-level EV, that's a solid bundle.

Pricing starts at P938,000 for the Pro variant, while the Max tops out at P1,038,000. Geely is also throwing in a P40,000 discount for a limited period, which sweetens the deal especially for early bird buyers. If you're considering making the switch to electric, you should definitely check out the Geely EX2. Visit the Geely Car Guide for more information.
