PIMS 2026 Recap: All the new cars at the Philippine International Motor Show

The 2026 Philippine International Motor Show has wrapped up, and with that, we have another two year wait before it rolls around again. If you missed all the action at the four-day motor show, don’t worry, we have compiled all the new cars that were launched or previewed for the Philippine market. 

With that said, let’s take a look at what each brand presented at PIMS 2026.

Nissan Philippines came in strong with a mix of official launches and exciting previews. The Nissan X-Trail made its much-anticipated return to the Philippine market, now equipped with the brand's e-Power hybrid system and priced at P2.29 million. Alongside it, Nissan previewed the all-new Kicks e-Power, the fully electric Primera BEV, and the plug-in hybrid Navara Pro — giving Filipino motorists a first look at what's coming next from the Japanese brand.

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines centered its PIMS presence on two key stories. The brand previewed the Outlander PHEV ahead of its official local launch, giving enthusiasts their first close look at the electrified crossover.

On the other hand, the XForce lineup received a refresh with updated variants, with the entry price now starting at P1.119 million — making it a more competitive offering in the segment.

MG Motor Philippines went on an electrification blitz, launching three new models in a single event. The brand introduced the HS PHEV and RX9 PHEV as its latest plug-in hybrid offerings, while the MG 4 Urban — a more accessible version of the current MG 4 — joined the lineup as a fully electric option, priced at P1.2 million. It was a strong showing that underscored MG's ambition in the PH EV space.

Suzuki Philippines made history at PIMS 2026 by debuting the e-Vitara, the brand's first fully electric vehicle for the local market, priced at P2.02 million. It's a significant milestone for a brand long known for its affordable and fuel-efficient lineup. The booth also featured fan favorites such as the five-door Jimny, the XL7, the Dzire, and the Fronx.

Geely Philippines gave attendees a look at the EX2, its upcoming electric hatchback, ahead of its official launch slated for June 23, 2026. Pricing was also announced at the show, with the EX2 starting at P938,000 for the Pro variant — a competitive entry point that positions it as one of the more affordable EVs in the country.

Isuzu Philippines focused its PIMS booth on the future of its core product by previewing the facelifted D-Max. The updated pickup sports a sharper, more refined design. While pricing and availability details are yet to be confirmed, the brand did open reservation orders during the show, allowing eager customers to get first dibs on the refreshed workhorse.

Chery Auto Philippines unveiled the all-new QEV, essentially a modern reimagining of the QQ, with an updated design and up to 405 km of driving range, now priced at P1.12 million. Aside from the QEV, Chery also held test drives of its range of crossovers for attendees showing not only the brand’s diverse lineup, but also the variety of choice Chery provides for the Philippine market.

In its PIMS debut, Jaecoo took the spotlight by previewing the J5 EV and opening reservations for it, positioning the fully electric crossover as a potential entry-level contender in the segment. 

In addition, the J8 PHEV was also on display. Meant to target the electrified crossover segment, this will be the largest JAECOO vehicle in the Philippines if a local launch is to push through, plus, the brand says it can cover 1,350 km with a full charge and a full tank of fuel.

Making its first-ever PIMS appearance, Subaru Philippines came out swinging with the official launch of the Crosstrek e-Boxer hybrid, now on sale for P1.998 million in two colorways. Joining the Crosstrek was a Forester e-Boxer dressed in a new 'Adventure Pack' body kit — a sporty showcase of what the brand's self-charging hybrid technology can offer to the Filipino market.

Toyota Motor Philippines delivered arguably the most headline-heavy showcase at PIMS 2026, premiering three major models in one go. The long-awaited Land Cruiser FJ finally made its Philippine debut, starting at P2.235 million. Joining it on stage was the fully electric Hilux BEV, priced at P2.99 million — a historic first for the iconic nameplate. Toyota also unveiled the Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid, which carries a P6.93-million price tag. Rounding out the booth was a Gazoo Racing corner featuring a dressed GR Corolla and GR Supra, both built in collaboration with Autoplus.

With electrification now firmly at the forefront,  accounting for roughly 50 percent of all vehicles displayed, the 10th edition of PIMS felt less like a traditional motor show and more like a preview of what the Philippine automotive landscape will look like in the years ahead, but hey, the motor show’s theme did say “Forward in Every Drive”.
