Porsche Philippines, under the exclusive distributorship of PGA Cars, Inc., is observing a milestone for the brand that transcends seven decades in the automotive industry. The marque’s 70th anniversary celebration proves its mark in being the maker of some of the most iconic vehicles in the world, which you have the chance to feast your eyes on this Father’s Day weekend.
The Porsche story began in June 8, 1948 when Ferdinand Porsche registered the 356 “No. 1” Roadster under the name Porsche. It was the first model to bear his name, and the time the German brand was born.
Fast forward to today, Porsche just recently unveiled the Taycan nameplate, which is the production model of the Porsche Mission E, its first full electric vehicle (EV). It’s powered by two motors that can put out a total of 600 hp, which can make the car go from zero to 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds.
Porsche indeed has a splendid history, and it’s not showing any signs of slowing down. From June 16 to 17 (Saturday to Sunday), 2018, you can visit the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Makati to see a wide collection of Porsche cars that are displayed for your viewing pleasure.
A lot of Porsche cars will be in exhibit, including a 1973 911 S in pristine condition. One of Porsche Philippines’ newest models, the 400-hp Macan, is also on display, just in case you want to check out the latest cars that the brand can offer.
So, this Father’s day weekend, make sure to bring your dad (and the whole family, too) to the Power Plant Mall and witness the rich Porsche heritage.
