2018 has been a good year for Ford Philippines so far, as its sales continues to escalate in the past few months. As the American brand’s pride, the Ranger continues to show its power with 2.5 percent increase in sales and 1,095 units sold this month. This impressive amount drove the pickup’s year-to-date sales to 19 percent rise with 5,470 vehicles sold. With this, the Ranger is already on its sixth consecutive month as the Ford’s best-selling nameplate.
Driving behind the marque’s ace is the Everest with 483 units sold in June, which is quite higher than the prior month’s sales of 437 vehicles. This increase is equivalent to more than 10 percent sales growth. As of now, the mid-size SUV has already accumulated a year-to-date sales of 3,178 vehicles.
Keeping up with the top models is the Ecosport with 405 vehicles sold in the market. This figure boosted the mini-SUV’s year-to-date sales to 3,242 units, taking the third major spot next to Everest.
Meanwhile, the Mustang that was recently launched in MIAS 2018 is already getting a good response from the market. This legendary coupe icon managed to roll 52 units out of the showrooms last month, pushing its year-to-date sales up by 39 percent to 251 units.
To top it all off, the blue oval brand has successfully sold 2,114 units this June 2018, which is slightly higher than the previous month’s record.
Looking at these notable sales record, there’s no doubt that Ford is fast becoming a well-loved and trusted brand in the country. To give back to its local customers, the American brand has lowered the scheduled service maintenance costs by 17 percent for its top three best-selling nameplates mentioned above.
