Facelifted 2020 Ford Everest Philippines

Ford Philippines finally launches the new facelifted 2020 Everest. It now has the power plant of the Ranger Raptor, making it the most powerful midsize SUV in a small displacement engine package. For now, the new Everest comes in two variants – 4x4 and 4x2 – both in Titanium trims. The rest of the trim levels will follow suit but there's no definite date yet.

The new 2020 Ford Everest comes with two diesel engine options. The first is a 2.0-liter biturbo, while the other is also a 2.0-liter with a single turbo. The Biturbo 4x4 variant produces 210 hp and 500 Nm of torque, while the Single Turbo 4x2 makes 180 hp and 420 Nm of torque.

In comparison, the new biturbo engine produces 10 more horses and 30 more Nm torque. Attached to both new engines is a 10-speed automatic transmission that makes the most of what the engine can offer within its torque band.

For seating, the Everest has 8-way power adjust for the driver and front passenger seat. The second row has a 60:40 split-fold seat that also comes with two ISOFIX Anchors. The third row, on the other hand, has a power-folding function to make creating space in the rear of the vehicle easier.
