San Miguel Corporation (SMC) will begin collecting fairs for motorists who are to pass the Skyway Stage 3 starting July 12, 2021. Along with that, the approved toll fees for the elevated expressway have been revealed.
After experiencing 7 months of free use, the public will now have to pay a toll in order to drive through the Skyway Stage 3. Only a few days left before the following rates will be enforced on the elevated expressway, which is why you should take note of the toll rates shown below.

For starters, Class 1 vehicles including cars, vans, AUVs, SUVs, and jeepneys, who are to pass through the 18-km road will require them to pay toll fees between P105 to P264. While Class 2 vehicles, on the other hand, include passenger buses, delivery vans, small trucks, and Class 1 vehicles with trailers. The following vehicles are then required to pay between P210 and P528.

When the Skyway Stage 3 was opened last year, many motorists were satisfied as it serves as a seamless connection between the north and south with the usual travel time significantly improved when taking other traditional routes, plus, driving up the elevated expressway was free back then. Now that SMC will enforce its toll rates this coming July 12, will many motorists continue to pass through the 18-km road? Also, are these toll rates already final or will there be any changes? We shall find out in the days to come, so stay tuned for some up-to-date info.
