To say that the Mitsubishi Strada is a popular model is a bit of an understatement. The model has enjoyed a lot of success throughout the years, spanning multiple generations and a lot of fanfare from many pickup truck buyers.
Mitsubishi has recently reached 100,000 units sold in the country, and to commemorate this special milestone, the Strada will be getting a special S-Limited variant which is based on the GLS variant in the current lineup.
That being said, the current feature set of the GLS variant will be available in the special edition which is to say that the model will be a 4x2 drivetrain with a 2.4-liter turbo diesel engine that we’ve gotten very familiar with over the years.
The kicker here is that the special edition will be limited to only 75 units in total. You heard that right, only 75 of these GLS S-Limited variants will be available to the public, so we recommend that you act fast if you like what you see.
What you’re seeing in the photos is the product shots of the new variant, and there are quite a few things that are going on here. First of all, and most noticeable, there is a decal kit that was specially made for the edition. We see hits of silver and red on a White Diamond Pearl canvas. Following that, we get red-colored accents that are their own shade, and not similar to what we can find on the Ralliart Editions of the Strada. There is also a blacked-out grille, along with a blacked-out rear bumper with the same red accent treatment. The side steps are also colored in black with the same shade of red serving as an accent which rounds out the rest of the look for the Strada's special variant.
As for the price of this new S-Limited variant, it’ll cost buyers a hair under the P1,500,000. The suggested price for this special edition is pinned at P1,496,000, which is a little more expensive than the standard editions because of its limited production run and the fact that it is also on the most expensive color option currently available in the Mitsubishi lineup, Diamond White Pearl.
With only 75 slated for sale, it’s best to act now if you really want to drive home in a special Strada.
