Suzuki Philippines recently put its aftersales teams in the spotlight, and the results proved just how much skill goes on behind the service bay doors.
Held at Suzuki Auto Sta. Rosa, the 2025 National Aftersales Skills Competition, brought together top dealership professionals from across the country to test their chops in service operations, parts management, and customer relations. Teams faced a mix of hands-on and technical challenges, with only the top five earning a shot at the finals.
Taking the top honors was Suzuki Auto Matina, whose team stood out for its sharp execution and solid teamwork. The winning lineup included Customer Relation Officer Ayessa L. Orbeta, Parts Supervisor Jan Oscar Edward Mariano, Service Advisor Robin Jan T. Vallescas, and Technician Helberto G. Bangcas, Jr.
They were followed by Suzuki Auto Taytay as first runner-up, represented by Customer Relation Officer Merie Rose San Juan, Leadman Rodel Villanueva, Parts Staff Jessie Majados, and Service Advisor Isiclet Ogatis.
Rounding out the top three was Suzuki Auto Kalookan, led by Customer Relation Supervisor Rangie Pangilinan alongside Parts Specialist Robelyne Mira, Service Advisor Remie Villaflor, and Technician Sixto Aguila, Jr. All awardees received cash prizes in recognition of their performance.
“This competition is more than a showcase of technical skill—it is a celebration of the dedication, professionalism, and Suzuki spirit that each of you carries. Every challenge you overcame today reflects our drive to uphold the highest standards of service quality,” he said. He added, “Your hard work strengthens the trust our customers place in the Suzuki brand. Events like this highlight our shared mission to create true customer delight and reinforce our commitment to being ‘By Your Side’ in every experience. I hope this inspires all of you to continue growing, collaborating, and pushing for excellence in your respective fields.”
Spare Parts Department Head Mr. Nonito Dayandante highlighted how the event showcased the talents not only of technicians and service advisors, but also of customer care and spare parts personnel. Encouraging participants to think creatively and solve problems, he said, “Make your dealerships proud by carrying out the new slogan, with a commitment to be a dependable partner throughout a customer’s life, adaptable to changing times and societal needs in the Automotive Industry. Let’s Go Suzuki!”
For Mr. Yukio Sato, General Manager of After Sales Services and Marine Division, the competition reflected the dedication and professionalism that define Suzuki’s aftersales culture. “Every challenge you face, every solution you find, and every customer you serve reflects our vision to deliver value-packed products and services that bring joy and satisfaction to people’s lives. Excellence is built every day through passion, teamwork, and the will to serve better than yesterday,” he remarked.
With the 2025 National Aftersales Skills Competition, Suzuki Philippines reinforced what keeps the brand running strong long after the keys are handed over: people who take pride in doing the job right.
