Suzuki Philippines had consistent and robust performance over the first two quarters of 2019. That momentum continues into the third quarter of 2019 as the company posted another increase in sales figures, amounting to 19 percent when compared to the company’s sales numbers in 2018.
The company also released a refreshed version of the Vitara. The slight improvements can be seen in both the exterior and interior. It is now equipped with a new grille, lower bumpers, and new rear combination lamps. On the interior, the vehicle comes with a new pattern for the suede material of the seats and a revamped instrument cluster. The infotainment system has also been updated.
The increase in sales numbers is thanks to Suzuki’s strategic marketing efforts. The company has added emphasis to promotions and interactive events that are aimed at boosting its product visibility. With its continued momentum, the Japanese automaker hopes that it can further strengthen its position in the market through the last few months of 2019.
Suzuki’s current standing in the Philippine automotive industry is a significant milestone for the brand. After securing the 4th spot in the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) ranking – the highest rank in the brand’s history – and climbing to the 5th spot in the local automotive industry roster last quarter, we at Suzuki Philippines can definitely say that 2019 has been a monumental year for the brand.
Key to the company’s current sales success is the top three Suzuki models. The Ertiga, Swift, and Celerio are the driving force behind the company’s higher sales figures. These three award-winning models combined account for 56 percent of the total sales of the automaker from January to September this year.
