Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPH) is greeting the second half of 2021 with some great news as the brand has hit a major sales milestone. The Japanese automaker, known for its compact vehicles and has just been ranked 3rd amongst all the other automotive brands in the country according to the most recent industry data. The data further shows that Suzuki has had continued growth in sales over the past year, even with the difficulties encountered by the Philippine economy during this ongoing pandemic.
Leading the charge for the automaker’s great success in the first half of 2021 in the country is the Suzuki Carry which contributes to 19.9 percent of the brand’s total sales. A popular choice for those looking to get an affordable commercial vehicle that comes well equipped and won’t break that bank.
Following close behind its commercial vehicle sibling is the Suzuki Ertiga which has garnered a total of 19.6 percent of the brand’s sales in the country. A popular choice for those looking to get an affordable 7-seater MPV that is both affordable in price and on the gas. Thanks to its attractive pricing it’s no wonder that this vehicle has become a sales success for the Japanese automaker.
Rounding up the top three is the Suzuki Dzire which has contributed to 18.4 percent of the brand’s total sales in the country. An affordable subcompact sedan that comes with a frugal 1.2-liter motor and with features befitting its price bracket. Suzuki has also even made this vehicle even more attractive as it has recently given it a facelift.
Together, these three models account for more than half (58%) of the automaker’s total sales in the country.
Suzuki’s continued growth is a testament of our brand’s mission of expanding our reach for more people to experience what the Suzuki Way of Life! is all about.
