Suzuki turns the Every and Super Carry into mini off-roaders for the 2026 Japan Truck Show

Suzuki rolled into the 2026 Japan Truck Show in Yokohama with two freshened kei workhorses decked out in outdoor-ready gear, giving the facelifted Super Carry truck and Every van their moment in the spotlight.

Starting with the truck, Suzuki built the show unit around the Super Carry X Limited, which sits at the top of the range. From there, the company layered on gloss-black exterior accents, matching black steel wheels, and Mountain Trail graphics down the sides. The setup is exclusive to the extended-cab version with the taller roofline, so don't expect it on the standard body. 

Under the hood, a naturally aspirated 660 cc four-cylinder does the work, producing 50 hp and sending drive through a selectable 4WD system that also gets a differential lock for when things get properly sketchy off the beaten path. The show truck also sports the optional Hard Cargo kit, a package Suzuki first teased with the Super Carry Work & Play Pro concept at the Tokyo Auto Salon. The headline piece is a roof rack that stretches out over the bed, making it already versatile.

On the van side, Suzuki brought along the Every in J Limited trim, a spec that's already been on sale and targets buyers with an eye toward the outdoors. Compared to a base Every, the J Limited gets gloss-black bumpers and exterior trim, tinted LED headlamps, side graphics, and gunmetal-finished hubcaps. The van measures just 3,395 mm tip to tail, keeping it firmly in kei territory.

For the show, Suzuki dressed it up further with Hard Cargo accessories from the catalog, which includes luggage bars along the cargo walls and a net rack up on the headliner, though exact spec hasn't been officially confirmed. Power in the Every J Limited comes from the turbocharged 660cc engine, bumped up to 63 hp, with 4WD available as an option.

Neither model is expected to leave Japan, but they're a solid reminder that Suzuki's kei lineup is doing a lot more than just city commuting in their hometown.
