Volkswagen Philippines recently added a new member to their increasingly strong lineup – the Tiguan Business Edition. This is now the top-of-the-line variant of this diesel-powered compact SUV which boasts premium upgrades inside and out.
The new Tiguan Business Edition is gifted with a more luxurious trim compared to the Sport & Style variant. The interior is wrapped with the new “Vienna” leather. It’s one of the top types of leather available in Volkswagen that you could have your seats clothed with. The driver seat is electric and can be adjusted in 12 ways.
Furthermore, the new Tiguan Business Edition is also equipped with a RCD510 head unit which is a cool upgrade from the current RCD310 of the 2.0 TDI Sport & Style. The color display is now touchscreen and can play MP3 and other media without having to buy a separate adapter cable. It still has radio, CD, USB, and Aux-in connectivity, and produces sound via 8 speakers.
As for the exterior upgrades, the new Tiguan Business Edition gets a bump on the style department with its “New York” 18-inch alloy wheels, Bi-Xenon headlamps with washer, and LED daytime running lights. This gives this small SUV a more authoritative yet classy demeanor. The side mirrors are now automatic and heated which is quite useful when the climate is cooler.
The new Tiguan 2.0 TDI Business Edition has an SRP of P2,426,000 and available in 5 colors – Candy White, Flash Red, Reflex Silver Metallic, Shadow Blue Metallic, and Carbon Steel Grey.
