A few years ago, Toyota introduced the GR Supra GT4 race cars, which were built specifically for high-performance racing, and customer racing teams. These cars were designed to dominate the competition on the track, as proven by multiple victories in various countries. Fast forward to the present, and Toyota has achieved a significant milestone: 100 units of the GR Supra GT4 have been manufactured and sold.
The GR Supra GT4 cars were equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine that can produce 430 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 7-speed sports automatic transmission. The suspension features KW dampers on both ends, a limited-slip differential at the back, and a Brembo racing brake system to control the power.
To celebrate the occasion, Toyota is releasing two special edition GR Supra GT4s. The first is the GR Supra GT4 100 edition, which is based on the GT4 EVO model. It features a unique Plasma Orange color, a special hood, and a badge with a serial number. Only three of these models will be available worldwide.
The second model is the Plasma Orange 100 Edition, which is based on the top-of-the-line GR Supra instead of the GT4 EVO model. It also comes in the Plasma Orange color but is distinguished from the regular Supras by its black-painted brake calipers. The interior is also adorned with Alcantara seat upholstery for added uniqueness.
Following the release of the GR Supra GT4, Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) engineers have been providing customer support by traveling to various race tracks worldwide. This has allowed them to receive valuable feedback directly from racing teams and drivers, which can only be obtained under the extreme conditions of racing. The introduction of the GR Supra GT4 EVO in 2022 has further expanded their knowledge as they continue to develop high-performance cars for motorsports.
Unfortunately, the Toyota GR Supra Plasma Orange 100 Edition will only be available in Japan, and production will be limited to 100 units.
