Making good on their promise last week that they are introducing a new crossover, Toyota has officially launched the 2024 Yaris Cross in Indonesia a crossover version of the Yaris hatchback. The 2024 Yaris Cross for the ASEAN market is different from the TNGA-based Yaris Cross you’ll find in Europe and Japan, this Yaris Cross is built on the Daihatsu New Global Architecture that underpins the Raize, Veloz, Avanza, and new AC100 Vios.

The Yaris Cross for the ASEAN market is designed to cater to those seeking a crossover that falls in between the size of the Raize and the Corolla Cross. Aside from providing a third way between the Raize and Corolla Cross, the new Yaris Cross provides a flexible option for propulsion as it comes available in both traditional petrol-powered vehicles and a hybrid powertrain.
