Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) achieved recognition in a private awarding ceremony after the Toyota Vios won the inaugural 2017 AutoDeal Buyers’ Choice Award for Car of the Year.
The award came as a result of the Vios accounting for 23.7% of all subcompact car purchases on the AutoDeal platform throughout 2017.

"The Toyota Vios has for a long time been a firm favorite and market leader for Filipino car-buyers. From the data used to generate this award, it is clear to see that the popularity of this vehicle continues to resonate strong among online car-shoppers,” said Daniel M. Scott, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, AutoDeal.com.ph.
The award was presented to TMP President Satoru Suzuki from AutoDeal Co-Founders Daniel M. Scott and Christopher L. Franks at Toyota headquarters in Makati City.
In addition to Car of the Year, Buyers' Choice Awards for the Pickup of the Year and SUV of the Year were also presented based on consumer interest and transaction data collected from the AutoDeal platform throughout the course of 2017.
