UAAGI Auto Group showed up in force at the ICTSI Philippine Athletics Championships 2026, lending its support to the country's top track and field talents at the New Clark City Stadium in Capas, Tarlac.
The group sent its top executives to the event. Representing the group were Atty. Ruby Grace Dimaano, Vice President for Legal and Compliance, alongside Joselito Vergara, Vice President for Operations, Production and Logistics. Also present were Miguelito Jose, Managing Director of JETOUR Auto Philippines, Inc.; Levy Santos, General Manager of FOTON Motor Philippines, Inc.; and Franz Decloedt, who heads Chery Auto Philippines, Lynk & Co Philippines, and Radar EV Pickup Philippines.
UAAGI joined Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (PATAFA) Secretary General Jasper Tanhueco and Deputy Secretary General Flubert Cosue in honoring the athletes who competed at the meet. For the auto group, the same grit and discipline that defines a world-class sprinter or field athlete is not all that different from what drives the automotive industry forward. Whether it is an athlete grinding through training to shave fractions off a personal record or an auto brand pushing to deliver better performance and value to its customers, the underlying mindset is largely the same. UAAGI made it clear that connection was not lost on them.
New Clark City Stadium, one of the country's most modern sporting venues, provided a fitting backdrop for the event. The ICTSI Philippine Athletics Championships continues to serve as one of the premier stages for Filipino track and field, drawing the nation's best competitors and giving them a platform to perform at the highest local level.
It is a straightforward show of community support from a group that represents some of the more active brands in the Philippine market right now. Jetour, FOTON, Chery, Lynk & Co, and Radar EV Pickup each carry their own identity in the local automotive landscape, but under the UAAGI banner, they came together for something bigger than product launches and sales figures. It goes to show that the industry's reach extends well beyond the showroom floor.
