Wouldn’t it be great to spend just P100 on your Uber ride? Uber Philippines is giving you the chance to save on your trip by booking a ride with its new feature called uberPOOL this Friday, August 5, 2016
UberPOOL is the latest addition to the ridesharing app’s line of features for commuting convenience. It’s a carpooling service that allows people to share a ride and split the cost, as long as the drop off points are headed the same direction along the way.
To celebrate this and to contribute to Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s campaign of solving Metro Manila’s traffic problem on his first 100 days of service (#100DayChallenge), Uber Philippines will offer its UberPOOL service for just P100 or less. This 1-day promo, which will happen on August 5 (Friday) from 6:00 am to 12:00 midnight, will span around Metro Manila, particularly around Ortigas, Makati, and BGC.
Here’s how it works. Open the Uber app on your smartphone and apply the promo code 100DAYCHALLENGE on the Promotions menu. Next, input your pickup location and destination under the UberX option and choose UberPOOL. Then, choose the number of seats you need (each requester can select up to 2 seats per pickup). After that, request your Uber ride and will be charged P100 at the end unless your fare is less than that in which you pay the lower price.
