Who says only people can walk the runway? The VF 7 could probably drive it. Electric cars are now being built with more than performance and range in mind. For younger and more eco-conscious drivers, the way a car looks matters just as much as how it drives. That’s why many new EVs, including the VinFast VF 7, are being designed to match personal style just as much as daily needs.
Without the bulky engines and parts used in gas cars, electric vehicles give designers more freedom to be creative, which has opened the door to smoother lines, better shape, and even more focus on details like lighting and cabin layout. You’ll notice more EVs today are shaped with long curves, clean panels, and soft angles that help with both looks and airflow. Even features like headlights are now designed to show off brand identity, acting like logos on the road. Inside, EVs tend to skip heavy dashboards and buttons, going instead for simpler layouts and materials that are more modern or even recycled
The VF 7 was made with this idea in mind. It was designed by Torino Design in Italy and follows the brand’s concept of “asymmetric aerospace,” which means the car focuses on the driver while still feeling roomy and sleek. The crossover has wide curves, sharp lines, and a body that cuts through the air better thanks to its shape. It also has hidden door handles and a sloped roofline, making it look both futuristic and smooth.
Inside, the VF 7 continues the clean look. The cockpit is made to keep the driver in control, with fewer buttons and more open space. Everything is kept simple, and the layout leans slightly toward the driver. VinFast also shared that the car took over 80,000 hours of design work before it was finished.
There are two versions of the VF 7: Base and Plus. The Plus version has two motors that give 500 Nm of torque and can go from zero to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds. The Base version has a single motor and can run up to 430 km on a full charge. Both models come with features like adaptive cruise control, traction control, and hill-start assist. VinFast also offers a 10-year battery warranty.
Being eco-friendly doesn’t mean boring anymore. The VinFast VF 7 shows how electric cars can look cool while doing the job. Want to see more? Head over to AutoDeal.com.ph and browse the VinFast lineup.
