Volkswagen Philippines held its award-winning Child Safety Initiative (CSI) campaign all the way to the Visayas region. The campaign was held at Robinsons Galleria Cebu last October 15 and 16.
The campaign highlighted the Junior Driving Course which featured a miniature roadway simulating actual community with road signs, and, of course, Volkswagen push cars for ages 4 to 8. Particular samples of child seats were also presented and displayed at the Child Seat Corner.
Children and parents also participated in signing their commitment at the “Pledge Wall” following the slogan “Child road safety begins with me” by posting pledge stickers they signed themselves.
Furthermore, CSI ‘s institutional partner (Philippine Global Road Safety Partnership) representatives also took part by imparting their insights to road safety.
On the other hand, the Tiguan SUV and the Touran MPV also made an appearance during the event.
With a total statistics of 6,791 children and 5,190 elders since its previous launch in 32 venues in Luzon, the CSI campaign continues to impart valuable lessons towards preparing the kids to become responsible adult road users.
