Maserati, through its official distributor in the Philippines, Formula Sports Inc., unveiled its model lineup for 2018. Now available in the local market are the new-generation GranTurismo, Ghibli Levante, and Quattroporte. The models exhibit revised design approach of the Trident logo, without the cost of departing each from the brand's DNA.
The 2018 Maserati lineup was unveiled at the Shangri-La the Fort, headed by Formula Sports Inc.'s chairman and president, Wellington “Willie” Soong. Highlighting the launch was the restyled GranTurismo, which features refinements inside and out. But before you get excited about the iconic 4-seater coupe, below are the new models from Maserati.
2018 Ghibli
The Ghibli is Maserati's best-selling nameplate, with over 70,000 units reaching 70 countries since 2013. To start off, the 2018 Ghibli now has two trims: the GranLusso and GranSport. Each trim boasts their own characters that we could all refer to as elegance and sportiness, in simpler terms.
*2018 Ghibli GranLusso
The top-range S and S Q4 are now capable of 430 hp and 580 Nm of torque. This is a level up compared to the outgoing model, which is 20 hp and 30 Nm behind the 2018 model. This makes the sports sedan achieve a 286 km/h top speed and a 4.9 and 4.7 seconds 0 to 100 km/h sprint, respectively. Even more, the new-generation model is equipped with Integrated Vehicle Control System (IVC) for more stability and active safety.
*2018 Ghibli GranSport
The GranLusso trim is distinguishable by its Ermenegildo Zegna silk interior that make up the whole luxurious cabin experience. Meanwhile, the GranSport is said to reflect Maserati's racing heritage with sporty exterior and interior elements.
2018 Levante
The Levante SUV also sports the same two trims: an elegantly-inclined GranLusso and the red-blooded GranSport. The 2018 model has been built with a 50:50 weight distribution and the lowest center of gravity in the segment.

New safety features include the enhanced Advanced Driving Assistance System, which now comes with Lane Keeping Assist and Active Blind Spot Assis.t In addition, there is also Traffic Sign Recognition for improved driving assistance.

2018 Quattroporte
Now with Adaptive full LED headlamps, the new-generation Quattroporte comes with more significant upgrades and updated tech features. The new Quattroporte bears an upgraded 3.0-liter V6 engine that can now deliver 430 hp and 580 Nm of torque. With this, the car can reach a top speed of up to 288 km/h, and can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds.

2018 GranTurismo and GranCabrio
Down to the main event, the GranTurismo and its convertible counterpart, the GranCabrio, saw a substantial amount of refinements. Updates include large air vents on the bumper and a reshaped grille, which helps the body to reduce air drag.
*2018 GranTurismo
Both models are available in two versions, Sport and MC, which are equipped with a 4.7 naturally-aspirated V8 engine. The mill is capable of 460 hp and 520 Nm of torque, as well as the sweet signature sound of the iconic Maserati GranTurismo.
*2018 GranCabrio
Both GranTurismo and GranCabrio's interiors showcase excellency with the individual Poltrona Frau leather seats, an 8.4-inch capacitive touch screen, and a Harman Kardon Premium Sound-equipped infotainment system.
