In the Philippines, the Ford Mustang has cemented its status as one of the most popular performance cars on the market, revered by both car enthusiasts and collectors alike. Recognizing this deep-rooted popularity, Ford has unveiled the 60th Anniversary edition of the Mustang, paying homage to the iconic 1965 model that started it all.
To kick off the celebrations, Ford has reintroduced the classic Brittany Blue paint, a color that resonates with the Mustang's rich heritage. This exclusive shade is available for a limited time, from August 16 to August 19, making it a must-have for those looking to own a piece of Mustang history. The Brittany Blue option joins the existing red, white, and blue paint choices, offering a palette that appeals to both traditionalists and those with a patriotic flair.
The 60th Anniversary package is restricted to just 1,965 units, a nod to the Mustang’s first official model year. The Brittany Blue models are especially rare, offered exclusively in the coupe body style with a 10-speed automatic transmission. These special editions come packed with performance features like an active exhaust, Brembo brakes, a limited-slip rear axle, and stylish Space Gray upholstery, ensuring they not only look great but drive like a true Mustang should.
In addition, all 60th Anniversary Mustangs roll on 20-inch five-spoke wheels with a dark gray finish, complete with a red center cap reminiscent of the 1965 original. Smoked Nite Pony headlights and a mesh grille further enhance the retro-inspired design. To top it off, each model comes with a serialized plaque on the instrument panel, cementing its status as a collector’s item.
For Mustang fans in the Philippines, this 60th Anniversary edition offers a rare opportunity to own a piece of automotive history—so let’s keep our fingers crossed that Ford decided to bring this special edition Mustang into the Philippine market.
Until then, however, Ford already sells the seventh generation Mustang here, check it out in our detailed and comprehensive car guide. Get a quote, and drive home in your dream car today.
