XPENG is officially in the Philippines, and it is coming in with more than just one electric model. The Chinese automaker has launched the X9 and L03 locally with a six-variant lineup, giving buyers a choice between battery-electric and range-extended electric powertrains, with prices starting at P1,548,000.
The launch also marked another step in XPENG’s expansion across Southeast Asia. Around 3,000 guests attended the event, including members of the media, content creators, dealer and banking partners, automotive industry executives, and the general public. Aside from showcasing its vehicles, XPENG also highlighted its work in Physical AI, with displays featuring the X2 Flying Car and IRON Humanoid Robot.
“Tonight, Filipino customers saw the full range of choices behind our Philippine debut, from the space and comfort of the XPENG X9 to the different electric driving options offered by the XPENG L03. We are pairing these vehicles with comprehensive ownership support and a growing dealer network because the customer experience after the launch matters just as much as the technology presented on stage.”
More on the cars, the XPENG X9 serves as the brand’s flagship seven-seat MPV and is offered in two Long Range variants. The standard X9 Long Range is priced at P3,858,000, while the version equipped with the Second Row Premium Seat Package costs P4,058,000.
The two variants take different approaches to second-row comfort. The Premium Seat Package adds four-way powered headrest adjustment and 16-point massage, while the standard Long Range variant features Zero-Gravity seats separated by a central aisle for easier access to the third row.
Both versions get active rear-wheel steering, giving the large MPV a tight 10.8-meter turning circle. An intelligent dual-chamber air suspension is also fitted, while the powered third row can fold into the floor to free up additional cargo space.
Power comes from a front-wheel-drive electric motor producing 315 hp and 450 Nm. Both X9 variants use a 110-kWh battery and have a claimed WLTP range of up to 615 km. XPENG says DC fast charging can take the battery from 10 to 80 percent in around 12 minutes under optimal conditions with a compatible charger.
Meanwhile, the L03 is positioned as a more accessible entry into XPENG’s lineup. The next-generation AI crossover SUV xoupé is available in four variants, including three battery-electric models and one range-extended electric vehicle.
The L03 lineup starts with the EV Standard Range at P1,548,000, followed by the REEV at P1,598,000 and the EV Long Range at P1,698,000. At the top is the EV RWD Long Range Ultra, which carries a price tag of P2,058,000.
The Long Range Ultra uses a 71.1-kWh battery and offers up to 480 km of claimed range. It also adds features such as front-seat massage, an upgraded sound system, and additional intelligent driving hardware. The regular EV Long Range uses the same battery but has a claimed range of up to 520 km, while the Standard Range model uses a 58.3-kWh battery with up to 445 km of range.
For buyers who want an electric driving experience without relying solely on charging infrastructure, the L03 REEV uses a 37.2-kWh battery and can travel up to 215 km on electric power alone. Its gasoline engine acts as a generator when additional range is needed, allowing the vehicle to achieve a claimed combined WLTP range of up to 1,017 km.
All four L03 variants are rear-wheel drive and support DC fast charging, with a 10 to 80 percent charge taking around 20 minutes under optimal conditions with a compatible charger.
The L03 also comes with a five-seat cabin, a 539-liter rear luggage area, and a 15.6-inch central touchscreen. Driver assistance and safety technologies are standard across the range, while exterior colors include Arctic White, Midnight Black, Rock Gray, Silver Frost, and Phantom Purple. A Dark Gray interior is offered across the lineup.
XPENG is also rolling out ownership packages alongside its Philippine launch. X9 customers get five years of free preventive maintenance and roadside assistance, a five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, and an eight-year warranty covering the battery and electric motor. A 7-kW wall charger is included as well.
The L03 comes with two years of free preventive maintenance, five years of roadside assistance, a five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, and an eight-year battery and electric motor warranty. EV variants receive a 7-kW wall charger, while the L03 REEV comes with a 3.5-kW portable charger. If you want the check out the full specs, variants, and prices of XPENG's cars, visit the XPENG Car Guide on AutoDeal.com.ph.
