The much-awaited and much-anticipated Nissan LEAF EV is finally here in the Philippines and is available in several Gateway dealerships across the country. A spearhead of innovation, the LEAF serves as Nissan’s first-ever EV in the Philippine market. A compact hatchback in body, but a thoroughly advanced electric vehicle everywhere else.
The Nissan LEAF officially launched on May 9, 2021, and will continue to be sold only at Nissan Gateway dealerships until the near future. There are also plans of installing more charging stations—the locations and installations of which are soon to be announced.
To purchase the LEAF, would-be owners can inquire using AutoDeal’s online ‘Get Quote’ feature, or can visit any of these 6 Gateway-operated dealerships in the Philippines:
- Nissan Global City
- Nissan Mantrade
- Nissan Otis
- Nissan Cebu South

Owners of the LEAF may charge their vehicles—absolutely free of charge in 5 Gateway dealerships. These select dealers are properly equipped with fast charging stations that ensure reliable charging and accommodations for clients while waiting for their EV to top up. As such, here is the list of dealerships with EV charging stations under the Gateway network of dealers:

Equipped with a 40 kWh battery pack, the LEAF boasts a total range of 311 km, and it promises added efficiency thanks to the innovative e-Pedal system, which returns kinetic energy generated by braking and returns it to the battery while slowing down without even touching the brake pedal. Simply let off the throttle and the car will gradually come to a stop while recharging the battery pack at the same time.
