Zeekr has officially revealed teaser images of the upcoming 007 GT, a station wagon version of its 007 sedan. The reveal came shortly after key technical details about the electric estate surfaced through the registration application process mandated in China.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) oversees this process and reveals key technical details of new cars. Many automakers know this, which is why Zeekr’s teaser was released alongside its ‘unofficial’ reveal.

Though fleshed-out performance specifications are not yet available, much can be inferred from the exterior and the limited information provided by the MIIT. The dimensions of the 007 GT are nearly identical to those of the 007 sedan. Interestingly, compared to the sedan, the GT is one millimeter shorter and five millimeters lower. Surprisingly, the wheelbase also differs slightly, with the 007 GT measuring 2,925 millimeters compared to the sedan’s 2,928 millimeters.
In addition, according to the ministry's registration, Zeekr will offer the 007 GT in four variants, differing in drive systems and equipment. The lineup includes a rear-wheel-drive model with 415 hp and an all-wheel-drive version that features an additional 221 hp electric motor on the front axle. Two battery options will be available: an NMC battery with cells from CATL and an LFP battery utilizing Zeekr’s ‘Golden Battery’. What these golden batteries are composed of we’re not sure yet as the filing document did not disclose battery specifications.

According to CarNewsChina’s report, the 007 GT is set to launch in China in the second quarter of the year, according to Zeekr. CarNewsChina speculates it will debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in April. A European launch is not yet confirmed but knowing that it's the largest market for station wagons like the 007 GT, it’s highly likely that it will also make an appearance there soon.
Station wagons, unfortunately, aren’t as popular as other vehicle body types in the Philippines. However, you can explore a wide range of other vehicles through the AutoDeal Car Guide.
