When we hear the name Audi, our minds immediately think of luxury, state-of-the-art technology, driving pleasure, and, of course, precision German engineering. The Audi Q6 e-tron is among the latest all-electric vehicles the German automaker has produced, and it’s said to embody all the qualities we associate with an Audi, including the brand’s constant drive to innovate.
On paper, this electric luxury crossover has all the makings of a great car, but does being armed to the teeth with features help it perform well in the real world? Furthermore, who is this crossover really for? We took it for a drive to find out.

Power and Range
Since we’re reviewing an Audi, we thought it best to start with the performance figures. Propelling the Q6 e-tron Performance is a rear-mounted electric motor that delivers up to 326 hp and 485 Nm of torque. Providing the juice for the motor is a 94.9 kWh battery, allowing the Q6 e-tron to travel up to 640 km on a single charge.
To put those performance numbers in perspective, the Q6 e-tron has more power and torque than most PPV SUVs sold here in the Philippines, which are larger and more unwieldy than it is.
The range and performance aren’t the only impressive aspects of this crossover; charging it is also quite fast. Using a DC fast charger, the Q6 e-tron’s batteries can go from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 21 minutes. Furthermore, if you need just a quick top-up, 10 minutes on the DC charger can provide 255 km of driving range back.
Charging via a standard AC charger at home takes around 12 hours if you’re charging it from zero to 100 percent, which is also not bad considering the maximum range it has. Plus, you don’t have to worry about the placement of your vehicle with respect to the charger because Audi added charging ports to both sides of the crossover. Pretty clever.
Exterior
The Q6 e-tron marks a new step forward in Audi’s design language. In terms of dimensions, the Q6 e-tron measures 4,771 mm long, 1,939 mm wide, and 1,648 mm tall, with a wheelbase that’s 2,893 mm long. It shares some design cues with its ICE equivalent, the Q5, while incorporating bits we expect from EVs like the closed-off grille and smoother body lines. Some highlights to note are the customizable DRLs with fun start-up animations that are shared with the taillights, e-tron badging on the doors, and the imposing front end that’s capped by the body-colored grille.
Riding on a set of 19-inch two-tone alloy wheels, the Q6 e-tron sits at a respectable 185 mm of ground clearance. At the back, highlights include the discrete but sporty shape of the tailgate, the wraparound taillights, and black badging as part of the black optics package, giving our test unit a subtle but menacing look.
Cargo space
As impressive as the exterior is, the amount of cargo space in the Q6 e-tron. Open up the power tailgate and you’ll find 526 liters of space with the rear seats up. Fold them down, and the space expands to accommodate three balikbayan boxes in total with room to spare. The rear seats don’t fold perfectly flat, but it is manageable enough for you you put heavy cargo securely.
If that amount of space isn’t enough for you, there is a frunk that can easily hold bags and other small items.
Interior and Tech
Step inside the Audi Q6 e-tron and it’s clear that this crossover was designed to impress both the driver and the passengers. The cabin blends cutting-edge technology with Audi’s familiar sense of understated luxury, creating an environment that feels both futuristic and refined.
The centerpiece of the interior is the Audi Digital Stage, a sweeping display setup that dominates the dashboard. It combines an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch central infotainment screen, and a 10.9-inch passenger display that allows the front passenger to stream media or assist with navigation. The interface runs on Audi’s latest MIB 4 software platform, which delivers quick responses and crisp graphics. Everything from navigation to climate control is handled through this system, though key functions remain accessible via physical buttons and haptic sliders to reduce distraction. Luckily, the system is quite intuitive, so it’s only a matter of getting used to it with time.
A head-up display with augmented reality projects key information directly onto the windshield, overlaying navigation prompts and speed data into the driver’s line of sight. We love this feature because it speaks to our inner children. Plus, we can imagine being a character in Top Gun.
Material quality lives up to the Audi reputation. Soft-touch surfaces, recycled textiles, and leather upholstery give the cabin a premium character. Ambient lighting wraps around the cockpit in configurable colors, which enhances the sense of occasion at night.
The seating position strikes a balance between SUV height and sedan comfort. Both front seats are power-adjustable, while rear passengers enjoy generous space and dedicated climate controls. Other convenience features include wireless phone charging, multiple USB-C ports, and a digital key that enables smartphone-based access. The Q6 e-tron’s Bang & Olufsen sound system is another highlight, offering a treat for audiophiles. We appreciate the extensive customization options, and even without adjusting the equalizer, the audio remains crisp, clear, and full-bodied.
Driving Performance
Remember the power figures we mentioned earlier? 326 hp and 450 Nm of torque in a small crossover is impressive, and on the road, the Q6 e-tron feels quick on its feet. Torque delivery is instant, as expected from an EV, yet even at highway speeds, acceleration continues to surge as long as you keep your foot on the pedal.
The driving dynamics of the Q6 e-tron are genuinely good, and we’re not just saying that because it’s an Audi — it’s good, full stop. The steering has a satisfying weight and provides excellent feedback, while the car feels securely planted on the road. If a heavier steering feel isn’t to your liking, it can be adjusted through the settings screen, though we preferred the standard setup.
Ride comfort is on the firmer side, but that works to the Q6 e-tron’s benefit. The crossover carves corners like a low-slung sedan, feeling composed and confident. The ride can become a bit bouncy over ruts and bumps, but it finds its stride once the roads smooth out.
The ADAS features of the Q6 e-tron are equally practical. Adaptive cruise control and traffic jam assist proved useful both in heavy traffic and on long drives. What we loved most, however, was the system’s adjustability. Any feature you don’t use or find intrusive can be easily turned off — and the best part is that your settings stay saved for future drives. Even when active, the ADAS features do an excellent job of keeping you safe without being overly intrusive. You’re behind the wheel, you’re in control, and the Q6 e-tron makes sure you feel that way.
Price and Verdict
We don’t have exact pricing for the Q6 e-tron yet, but expect it to cross the P6 million mark. At that price point, it’s certainly beyond the budget of the average Filipino buyer. Still, price aside, Audi’s creation stands as a stellar example of innovative engineering backed by decades of car-building experience.
For those who can afford the Q6 e-tron, it offers an easy-to-drive EV with impressive range, a wealth of cutting-edge features, and a surprisingly engaging driving experience for a battery-electric crossover. If you’re among those lucky few, consider checking it out on AutoDeal.com.ph.
