Despite its sweet name, this EV isn’t melting anytime soon, in fact, it's thriving, and it might just be the sweetest thing on four wheels. The Jetour Ice Cream is a treat you don’t need to freeze. The small electric car is perfect for tight streets and tight budgets. It offers a clean design, useful features like LED headlights, and a range of up to 170 kilometers.
A sweet design and a sweeter price- for ₱699,000, it’s a really irresistible option for anyone looking to switch to electric. A car this cute deserves a closer look. Here’s what you need to know.

It's pint-sized like an ice cream
Let’s start with the most obvious point: it’s small and made for city streets. The Jetour Ice Cream measures just 2,980 mm in length and 1,637 mm in height, making it smaller than most hatchbacks. The compact size makes it perfect for driving on narrow roads and parking in tight spaces. It has 120 mm of ground clearance and 12-inch steel rims with accent-colored hubcaps, which keep things simple and practical for driving.
At the front, you’ll find LED daytime running lights, halogen projector headlights, and a Type 1 charging port tucked neatly under the badge, which makes sure charging is easy and user-friendly. Its size makes it great for short trips or errands, but keep in mind that the small footprint limits interior and cargo space.
Basic interior layout but with the necessary features
Inside, the Jetour Ice Cream is made to be simple and functional. The driver’s display is a colorful instrument cluster that shows the needed information like speed, power usage, battery level, and warnings. However, it doesn’t have a separate infotainment system. Instead, drivers can use Bluetooth or mount their phones for other function and entertainment.
The air conditioning controls are precise, and the center console includes a rotary gear selector, manual handbrake, and a single cup holder. While the steering wheel is fixed, the high roof provides decent headroom. It’s practical for daily use, but drivers who expect features like Apple CarPlay or Android Auto might feel limited.
It’s made for short trips
When it comes to performance, the Ice Cream uses a small electric motor that delivers 27 horsepower and 85 Nm of torque. It’s not built for speed, but it’s more than capable of daily drives around the city. In Sport mode, it feels lively, but Eco or Eco Plus modes are better for stretching the 170 km range.
Charging at home takes about eight hours using the included mobile charger, which makes overnight charging practical. However, it uses a Type 1 charging port, which isn’t as common in public charging stations in the Philippines. For the best experience, a home charging setup is recommended.
Perfect for city living but space is tight
Its small size makes it really easy to drive through crowded streets, but there are trade-offs when it comes to interior space. The rear seats are fine for kids or smaller passengers, but taller passengers might struggle with legroom, especially if the front seats are pushed back. Folding the rear seats helps create more cargo space, but it’s still not ideal for larger items.
The car’s small turning radius and reverse camera make parking in tight spaces less of a hassle. These features make it practical for city errands and short drives, even if the overall utility is limited by its size.
A sweet pint-sized treat or just cool on the outside?

At P699k, the Jetour Ice Cream is one of the most budget-friendly electric vehicles you can buy today. When it launched in 2023, the price was unexpected for an EV, and even today, it remains budget-friendly compared to others. With its eye-catching design, efficient battery, and practical features, it’s hard to resist. However, it skips out on things like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which some gas cars at this price range offer.
Is it worth the scoop? If you’re looking for an affordable, easy-to-drive EV for the city, it’s a good choice. But if you want more technology or a car for longer distances, it might not be the right pick for you. Whichever the case, feel free to explore this Jetour and other models on AutoDeal.com.ph.
