Under the hood of the 520d variants is a 2.0L TwinPower turbodiesel engine with 190 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. Pushing that aside would be the top-of-the-line 530d Luxury with a 3.0L Twinpower Turbodiesel that puts out 265 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque. That’s more than enough to put a molded shape of your head on the headrest.
Inside is Dakota leather for the 520d variants, while the 530d Luxury will greet you with Nappa leather. At the center of the dash is the new BMW iDrive System ID6, now with Gesture Control and is available across all three vehicles in the 5 Series.
