Basic & Timeless – The Volkswagen Santana is ready to bring the storm to the local subcompact sedan segment.
Taking advantage of the ASEAN trade agreements, Volkswagen Philippines immediately pulled models from China with the Santana as the baby of the bunch - not in terms of size but on price. Everyone, including us, was surprised when they said it starts at Php 686,000 - a price that's in reach of those who are looking for their first car, or for their small family, but usually ends up in the tiny hatchbacks available in the price range. At the same time, the surprise was brought about by the price too. Will it be a solid car? Isn't the price too low? Well, Caco's here to settle those concerns.
