2016 Chevrolet Colorado

After a month since it was revealed at the 2016 Bangkok International Motor Show, Chevrolet has launched the production-spec facelifted Colorado in Thailand, marking its ASEAN debut.

Up front, the 2016 Colorado gets a facelift along with a restyled grille, a revamped bumper, slimmer headlights, and a new hood design. Chevrolet also equipped the vehicle with LED daytime running lights. The Colorado’s rear remains to be similar with its predecessor.

Inside, the Colorado features a new dashboard layout, a redesigned center console, and new instrument panel. It also has an 8-inch color touchscreen, electrically powered steering wheel, and soft touch materials adorn the cabin. Chevrolet said that the Colorado is designed with new cabin mounts, which improve the vehicle’s NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness).

The 2016 Colorado is powered by an upgraded 2.5L Duramax 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that delivers 180 hp and 440 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to either a 6-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission.
