If you're ever wanted to hoon a BMW on ice or snow, you can do so at the Alpine xDrive Experience in New Zealand. A pass would cost you AUS$2,600 or roughly P88,300 plus airfare and transfers. But you might be able to do it all for free if you're lucky.
Thanks to the Asian Carmakers Corporation (ACC), the importer and distributor of the premium German brand in the Philippines, 5 lucky people will be able to take part in the Alpine xDrive Experience free-of-charge. Yes, they'll pay for your round-trip tickets to Queenstown, New Zealand, a 2-night accomodation at the luxurious Millbrook Resort, and a license to drive the wheels off BMW's range of X-series SUVs.
It's only here where professionally-trained BMW Instructors will teach you how to slalom, drift, and slide your way through the harshest winter conditions... like a rally driver. And this not done on your typical country road. Hidden on the Pisa Range between Queenstown and Wanaka, the Alpine xDrive Experience takes you to New Zealand's Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds, which is the only dedicated automotive winter-testing facility in the world.
The list of toys to drool over include the X3, X4, X5, and the triple turbo X5 M50D. And yes, you get to drive them all, plus some hot laps in an M3 with a professional driver.
But here's the catch. You have to buy a brand new BMW vehicle from any authorized BMW dealership nationwide from March 14 to 31, 2015 to earn raffle tickets. So if you've been shopping for a new Bimmer lately, this is the perfect time to do so and experience the Ultimate Driving Machine in winter.
