The daily dose of heavy traffic can be quite stressful to both motorists and their vehicles. That’s why BYD Philippines launched the “Tulong Tuesdays” Campaign, which aims to extend their 5-STAR service commitment to the general motoring public.
“Tulong Tuesdays” is a new corporate-social responsibility (CSR) campaign from BYD’s official local distributor Solar Transport and Automotive Resources Corporation (STAR Corp.). Open to all motorists who travel the streets and main roads of Mandaluyong City, “Tulong Tuesdays” caters to all types and brands of vehicles and is ready to offer emergency roadside assistance if needed.
This campaign will be done through the brand’s BYD Response Operations (BRO) and its BRO Mobile Assist. A team of skilled BYD technicians will be sent to go around Mandaluyong every Tuesdays from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. With an arsenal of repair tools and emergency kits, they’ll be on the lookout for motorists in need of help or emergency roadside repair.
To extend their reach, they’ll be working closely with the Mandaluyong Police and Traffic Department to provide additional assistance. This is made possible with the go signal from Mandaluyong City Mayor Benhur Abalos who said, “I’m looking forward to the campaign, which I believe can help the Philippine National Police Highway Patrol Group in harmonizing the city’s traffic system, especially along Shaw Boulevard since concentration of the traffic alleviation efforts are focused on EDSA.”
The BYD “Tulong Tuesdays” Campaign also serves as their way of thanking the city of Mandaluyong and its people for the 2 years of operations in the area.
