Chevrolet Cebu bags the Dealer of the Year award in this year’s General Motors International (GMI) Grandmasters in Barcelona, Spain.
The GM International Grandmasters program was created to recognize GM’s top-performing dealers worldwide in terms of sales, service, and customer satisfaction. This year’s program gave its attendees an update about GM’s global market progress, as well as its plans in the coming years.
In addition, Chevrolet Batangas was acknowledged as one of the top-performing dealers and was given the Rookie of the Year award.
“Now, more than ever, we need high-performing business partners who are passionate about winning to sell and service our vehicles. Nobody knows our brands, products or customers better than our dealers. That is why we regard them as a critical part of our team,” said Stefan Jacoby, GM Executive Vice President and President of GM International.
GMI also took the opportunity to announce the soon-to-be-launched GM International President’s Club. This will consist of 10 to 15 dealers from around the world who will be given opportunities to share their inputs to better influence the positive growth of GM and its brands.
Chevrolet’s official local distributor, The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI), expressed their delight in receiving the awards.
According to TCCCI President and Managing Director Atty. Albert Arcilla, “Our dealers are playing an important role in building the Chevrolet brand and supporting our sales in the Philippines. Like GM, our Grandmasters are putting the customer at the center of everything they do and building a culture to win.”
