The EcoSport was Ford Philippines’ best-selling model in July 2015

According to Ford Philippines’ July 2015 sales report, they were able to successfully roll out a total of 1,705 units for the entire month, thereby increasing their year-to-date sales by 15% or 12,132 units. But more surprisingly, the EcoSport is now their best selling nameplate in the country.

Still holding its status as the country’s best-selling pickup, the Ranger capped off the month with a total of 557 units sold, upping its year-to-date sales performance by 24% (or 4,884 units).

This ushers in good news as they’ll soon launch the latest version of the Ranger this August. Globally unveiled at the Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS) earlier this year, the new Ranger sports a new exterior look with more curves, bulges, and a redesigned front fascia. The interior also gets a fresh treatment, especially the dashboard, which was fashioned to resemble that of the all-new Everest’s dash layout. The local availability of the latest Ranger will start on September.

The EcoSport, meanwhile, garnered its best-ever month sales, logging in a 59% increase or 833 units sold and outselling the Ranger. Its year-to-date sales record is now at 4,966 units.

“We’re pleased that our momentum continued through July as Filipinos show their confidence in the Ford brand and appreciation for the way our global Ford vehicles, particularly the Ranger and the EcoSport, are meeting their lifestyle and transportation needs,” said Kay Hart, Managing Director, Ford Philippines.

Aside from the EcoSport, the Fiesta also scored high with a 10% increase or 153 units successfully sold. It now has a year-to-date sales record of 867 units.

Ford will also start delivering the all-new Everest to its customers by the 1st week of September, which was launched earlier this year. When that happens, don’t be too surprised to see the blue oval brand’s sales figures soar a few hundred units higher in a few month’s time.

Lastly, as Ford Philippines celebrates their 20th year of success, they’ll also reopen Ford EDSA, the very first dealership that started it all for them over a couple decades ago. This is a part of their 2015 goal to expand their network. By the year’s end, they will have reached their target of opening 40 dealerships across the country.
