Ford Philippines has brought its globally-recognized program Driving Skills for Life (DSFL) at the SMX Convention Center in Davao City for the first time in 10 years.
With more than 200 participants, the DSFL intends to educate public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers such as bus, jeepney, school bus, and taxi drivers about smart and safe driving to minimize road accidents.
Aside from that, DSFL also shared helpful tips and necessary skills for fuel-efficient driving and vehicle maintenance. They also conducted classroom training and an actual driving stimulation at SM Lanang, which highlighted the Anti-Distracted Driving Act.
“We’re happy to be bringing Ford’s Driving Skills for Life program to Davao for the very first time to continue helping raise awareness about driver and road safety. We have always wanted to reach more drivers in the country and with the expansion of our DSFL program nationwide, we will be able to equip more Filipinos with the proper training for safe, responsible, and fuel-efficient driving.”
Since 2008, over 20,000 Filipinos have already participated in Ford’s DSFL sessions, with the help of its long-time partner Tuason Racing School.
