Ford Everest

Ford Philippines recently launched its new after-sales program. Called Ford Protect, it features a premium extended warranty (PEW) and scheduled service plan (SSP) that lasts up to 5 years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first.

The PEW is a comprehensive service plan that covers unexpected repair costs. It covers the prices of certified genuine parts and labor. It also includes repair, replacement, or adjustment of key components in the engine, transmission, steering, brakes, front suspension, electrical system, and more.

Ford customers can avail various plans ranging from 2 months (4,000 km) to 36 months (100,000 km), depending on the age and mileage of the vehicle.

The Premium Extended Warranty is the most effective way to ensure that your new vehicle consistently performs at its best, and will continue to do so for years to come. Through PEW, we provide our vehicle owners peace of mind from knowing that they’re protected from unforeseen expenses, resulting in a worry-free ownership experience.

On the other hand, the SSP is a pre-paid service maintenance program for Ford vehicles. It ensures that only genuine parts will be used by Ford-trained technicians, as well as protects owners from future price increase on parts.

Aside from that, the SSP includes items needed for Periodic Maintenance Services (PMS) such as engine oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, brake fluid, clutch fluid, and more. The inclusion of costs for actual checks, replacements, and repairs, however, will depend on the plan the customer avails.

The cool thing about this after-sales program is that it’s transferrable as long as it’s within the plan’s validity period. Not only does this give peace-of-mind to the next owner, it can also increase the vehicle’s resale value.
