Ford Philippines left the month of June with a 17% year-over-year sales increase, or a total of 3,273 units sold. Spearheaded by the Everest SUV, EcoSport crossover, and Ranger pickup truck, the growth helped the company attain its all-time quarterly sales record by delivering 8,922 units from April to June 2017.

The Everest SUV held its ground as Ford’s best-selling vehicle in the Philippines, which sales increased to 8% from June last year to 1,139 units of this year. This helped boost its total year-over-year sales to 5,768 units sold.
On the other hand, sales for the EcoSport crossover rose 15% from a year ago, or a total of 984 units sold. Sales from January to June (year-to-date) have improved 20% compared from the same period from last year, recording 5,225 units. This secured its spot as one of the best-selling and most popular crossover vehicle in the country, as stated in AutoDeal’s Online Vehicle Sales Summary for June 2017.
Offered in 15 variants in the Philippines, the Ranger pickup truck sales soared 40% compared to June 2016, or 880 units in total. Off note, its year-to-date sales were brought even higher, tallying 4,596 recorded sales, or a 16% increase. It is also titled as ‘The Most Popular Pickup Purchase’ in the Philippines based on AutoDeal’s data for June 2017.
Lastly, North American-built Ford models including Explorer SUV and Mustang also donated to the June and quarterly record. The Explorer SUV sold 137 units, increasing the second quarter sales by 47% or 353 vehicles sold. The total sales of Mustang sports car contributed 69 units, advancing its quarterly sales to 124 sales in June this year.
