Ford Mustang Convertible

Ford recently pulled the wraps on the 2018 Mustang showcasing exterior changes, more driver assists, and 2 new powertrains. Now, the American brand debuts another version of this iconic pony—the Mustang Convertible.

Apart from the obvious new roof option, the 2018 Mustang Convertible is pretty much the same as its coupe counterpart. But in case you’ve missed its reveal, here’s a quick recap of what the 2018 Mustang offers.

This pony will have new engine options after ditching the 3.7L V6 in favor of the 5.0L V8. On the other hand, more torque is given to the 2.3L EcoBoost engine via Ford’s overboost technology uniquely calibrated for the Mustang. Unfortunately, power figures haven’t been disclosed by the American carmaker.

However, Ford did say that the ‘Stang’ will come with a MagneRide suspension for “optimum handling.” Furthermore, future owners will have the option to avail the active valve exhaust which allows the driver to “tune” the engine’s roar to their liking.

Drivers also have a customizable 12-inch all digital cluster display with MyMode. These features will let those behind the wheel customize the data displayed on the gauge cluster and save it for the next time they drive.

Meanwhile, other driver-assist features are also available such as pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection, distance alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and driver alert system.
