United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI), the exclusive distributor of Foton vehicles in the Philippines have recently signed to be the logistics partner for the Philippine Pacific Economic Cooperation Committee (PPECC) last June 23, 2015 for this year's Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).
Graced by Mr. Rommel Sytin, President of Foton Philippines and Mr. Antonio Basilio, Chair of PPECC, these 2 leaders have greatly expressed their support for the APEC and its objectives of promoting economic growth and prosperity in the region.

For the first time in 19 years, the Philippines will be hosting the 2015 APEC, a 21-nation forum composed of member economies of the Pacific Rim and one of the world’s largest regional economic groups. Meanwhile, PPECC will be 1 of the 3 official observers consisting of representatives from business, government and academic circles. As a logistics partner, Foton will be providing a fleet of its highly-spacious View Traveller vans to ferry the delegates of the 23rd PPECC General Meeting this September 2015.
Starting at a price of P1,299,000, the Foton View Traveller is a 15-seat multi-purpose van powered by a Cummins ISF 2.8L in-line 4 cylinder turbo-diesel engine. The interior boasts a spacious seating for up to 18 adults. And thanks to its ‘bubble-top’ ceiling configuration, passengers will be able to enjoy plenty of headroom while individual air-conditioning vents and 3-point pretensioner belts ensuring both comfort and safety.
