Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has introduced the Jazz in Luna Silver Metallic paint. HCPI said that the new color option will be offered on all Jazz variants.
Same with the regular Jazz models, the Lunar Silver Metallic version is designed with Honda’s ‘ULTR Seat’ that offers a flexible seating configuration. The ‘UTLR’ seat can be adjusted to 4 modes: Utility, Long, Tall, and Refresh.
In Utility mode, the Jazz’s rear seats can be folded down to accommodate large items and 2 occupants. On the other hand, the Long mode is a configuration wherein you can fold the rear seat (passenger side) and recline the front passenger seat in order to place a long item (such as a surfboard) with a maximum length of 2,260 mm. The Jazz’s Tall mode seat configuration enables the rear seat to be folded up to accommodate tall items with a maximum height of 1,000 mm. Lastly, the Refresh mode allow the front seats to recline all the way back to connect with the rear seats.
Safety-wise, the Jazz is equipped with SRS airbags, anti-lock brake system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD). However the 1.5 VX CVT and 1.5 VX+ CVT Jazz variants comes with additional features like hill start assist, vehicle stability assist, and emergency stop signal.
Powering the Jazz Luna Silver Metallic is the same 1.5L i-VTEC engine that delivers 120 hp and 145 Nm of torque. It is then mated to either a 5-speed manual or continuously variable transmission (CVT).
HCPI is now accepting reservations for the Jazz Lunar Silver Metallic with the following suggested retail prices: 1.5 VX+ CVT (P 968,000), 1.5 VX CVT (P 928,000), 1.5 V CVT (P 828,000), and 1.5 V MT (P 788,000).
