Offering the practicality of a 7-seat MPV and the comfort of a sedan, the all-new Honda Odyssey has already gathered over 100 reservations in less than a week since it was launched in early March.
“We are overwhelmed to hear about the very positive response from our customers especially in this category. We are working closely with our dealerships to be able to supply the orders we have taken over the week. We plan to continue to introduce new products that suit the demands and needs of the Filipino customers,” said Toshio Kuwahara, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) President and General Manager.
HCPI attributes the positive response due to the Odyssey’s sleek and elegant exterior while offering a gem of cabin amenities. It includes one of the best second row captain seats in the market complemented by a 9-inch LCD rear entertainment system and 6 speakers. It also has a Triple-Zone Automatic Air-Conditioning ensuring all passengers are cooled throughout the season. All seats wrapped in luxurious plush leather exhibits an invitingly soft and supportive relaxing ride.
The Odyssey is also the first Honda vehicle in the market to offer Earth Dreams technology in its 2.4L DOHC i-VTEC engine that’s mated to a 7-speed CVT with paddle shifters. In traffic, the engine also utilizes Idle-Stop system and an ECO button for added economy.
Safety systems like Emergency Stop Signal, Multi-view camera, Smart Parking Assist System, Blind Spot Information, Cross Traffic Monitor, and Hill Start Assist (HAS) also add to the Odyssey’s selling point.
Customers who have yet to order their own all-new Odyssey can still avail of the introductory price of P2,298,000 until March 31, 2015. The special offer also comes with a Modulo accessory pack which is being offered for free. Afterwards, the price will be increased by P50,000 in April.
