Honda reveals design sketch of WR-V compact SUV

Honda Brazil unveiled a design sketch of the all-new WR-V, set to make its world debut at the 2016 Sao Paulo International Motor Show. It comes with an aggressively designed exterior and a sporty stance.

In case you’re wondering, WR-V stands for “Winsome Runabout Vehicle” and it is developed by Honda Brazil’s R&D team. It features a “tough and urban” design, which they based on their research of customer needs in South America.

We have no questions when it comes to its looks – its bold exterior styling and wide stance give us high hopes for a new head turning car. It’s like a fusion of the CR-V and the 10th generation Civic that went binge-eating on steroids. Kidding aside, the new WR-V exhumes an athletic demeanor.

However, its size is still left to the guessing but, Honda classified it as a compact SUV. Some reports say that it’s slotted to rival the Ford EcoSport and the Nissan Juke, albeit, this has not been confirmed and the Japanese marque refuses to indulge the world with details yet.

Honda is set to officially reveal the WR-V in November at the mentioned motor show. As of this writing, Honda plans to offer the WR-V in Brazil and in other South American countries. The Japanese automaker has yet to announce if they are going to globally sell the WR-V.
