Just weeks before the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show, Honda rolled out an image that previewed one of their attractions this year. It’s the new Civic hatchback concept car.
The rendering only shows the car’s rear end. It features the same taillights found on the 2016 Civic sedan.
But the thing that grabbed our attention the most was its bumper design. See those gaping vents? These, including the center-mounted twin exhausts add masculinity to its low and wide stance. The roof’s edge also has these vent-like accents that to us, would serve as an added aerodynamic touch.
Of course, the car is still in its conceptual stages. So expect more changes once the production model comes out in the early parts of 2017.
According to Honda, the car will be produced at Honda of the UK Manufacturing (HUM). But the good news is that the brand is set to export it to other parts of the world. Will the Philippines be one of those? Here’s to hoping for some positive news in the near future.
While we all anticipate the Civic hatchback prototype’s grandstand show in Geneva, Switzerland, feel free to browse through the AutoDeal Car Guide for the latest on Honda Philippines.
