Hyundai Ph removes 100,000 km limit on their 5-Year Warranty program

Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official local distributor of Hyundai vehicles, has outdone themselves yet again. As the first carmaker to introduce the 5-Year Warranty back in 2007, they’re now upping the ante by removing the 100,000 km mileage cap on the said after-sales program.

This is great news, especially to those would-be Hyundai owners. Under this improved service, the vehicle’s most essential components like the engine, DCT (dual-clutch transmission), electrical systems, as well as body and paintwork are covered by HARI for 5 years no matter how much the vehicle has travelled.

We see it’s what customers want. The 5-Year Warranty with Unlimited Mileage program is proof to our untiring commitment to open new possibilities for customers and the industry,” shared HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo.

HARI also clarified that the cost of parts replacement are likewise covered by this service. Do note that this assumes the owner as adhering to terms and conditions like scheduling preventive maintenance service (PMS) or using genuine Hyundai parts.

Moreover, HARI can back up the vehicle’s suspension system for 5 years as well. It, however, is not included in the unlimited mileage program. But the fact that it can be checked under warranty up to 100,000 km is more than a good return for the customers. With regards to other components of the car like the battery and the audio system, a 2-Year (24 months) Warranty is given, with 40,000 km and 50,000 km limits, respectively.

HARI’s new 5-Year Warranty with Unlimited Mileage is applicable for units bought from December 1, 2015 onwards. It’s also available for service on all of HARI’s dealerships nationwide.
