Whether on their way to school or taking a trip with the family, children are at risk from the dangers of the everyday commute. With this in mind, the Motorcycle Development Program Participant Association, Inc. (MDPPA) held its 4th leg of road safety seminars.
The event, which was attended by 3rd grade students of the Lourdes School of Mandaluyong, is part of MDPPA’s road safety advocacy and their on-going “Helmets Save Lives” campaign.
The MDPPA said that children are prone to accidents out on the road. In relation to this, the association stressed out that parents should start educating their offspring/s about the importance of starting road safety at home.
MDPPA’s road safety seminar has enriched our students’ understanding of road safety and security. By imparting the value of road safety to our students, MDPPA’s initiative will go a long way toward reducing child road traffic injuries and deaths through children’s improved vigilance and caution,” said Lourdes School of Mandaluyong Principal Ana Bolinao.
Aside from the Lourdes School of Mandaluyong, the MDPPA has already held similar activities in San Beda Alabang, Muntinlupa City and in FEU Diliman, Quezon City.
The MDPPA is an organization that consists of several motorcycle brands such as Honda Philippines Inc., Kawasaki Motors Philippines Inc., Yamaha Motors Philippines Inc., Suzuki Philippines Inc., and Kymco Philippines Inc.
