Ford Philippines opened the 2016 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) with exciting additions to their best-selling nameplates - the new and stylish EcoSport Black Edition and the Everest Titanium 2.2L with Optional Premium Package.
The EcoSport Black Edition is the even sportier version of Ford’s subcompact crossover. Based on the top-of-the-line 1.5L Titanium variant, it’s adorned with trims that are all black, hence the name. This includes the 16-inch alloy wheels, lower and upper grille bezel, dual halogen headlamp housings, front fog lamps’ bezel, and side mirrors.
Aside from the new color motif, it gets add-on accessories that includes roof cross bars, a rear spoiler, sports pedals, and illuminated scuff plates to complete the look. Driving conveniences that are available in the 1.5L Titanium variant such as keyless swing gate, push-start button, rear parking sensors, and SYNC 2 are also still present in the Black Edition.
The EcoSport Black Edition is now available for P998,000 or P13,000 more than the variant it’s based off.
On the other hand, the all-new Everest is now available with a premium package on the 2.2L Titanium variant - an option previously exclusive to the 3.2L 4x4. Features such as HID projector and auto-leveling headlamps, panoramic moon roof, power liftgate, heads up display collision warning, lane keeping system, lane departure warning, and active park assist are now available without opting to get 4x4 capabilities.
The Everest Titanium 2.2L 4x2 variant with Premium Package is priced at P1,799,000 and is a full P200,000 cheaper the 3.2L 4x4 equivalent with the same package.
