Hyundai Genesis G90

Hyundai had a striking lineup at the 2017 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). Aside from the Creta, which will contend in the subcompact crossover segment, the South Korean marque also broke out the Genesis G90 luxury sedan.

Bearing the wing emblem of Genesis Motors, Hyundai's luxury vehicle division, the G90 executively sets it apart from the brand’s display. With its sleek wraparound headlights and wide chrome grille, the front makes a clear statement of modern luxury design with a touch of athleticism. Then, at the side is a straight character line that runs from the fenders and widens at the rear.

Inside, the G90 boasts exquisite cabin design crafted by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design. For multimedia, on the other hand, a 12.3-inch touch screen display mounts the dash, while the back-row passenger gets two 9.2-inch monitors with control dials. In addition, 17 Lexicon speakers surround the cabin for elite audio experience; add the feature of the double soundproof glass for privacy.

For safety, there are 9 airbags to protect the occupants: front, knee, curtain, and side airbags. More so, the sedan is equipped with a lane departure assist, blind spot detection, and front-rear parking sensors. Not only this, the body is constructed with advanced high strength steel (AHSS), for withstanding collisions from all direction.

Down to its horses, the G90 is powered by a 5.0L GDI 32-valve V8 Tau engine that generates 425 hp and 519 Nm of torque. This powerplant is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Lastly, the Hyundai G90 luxury sedan has a selling retail price of P7,528,000.
