At the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show, Mitsubishi flaunted their Strada and ASX models that were dressed to look more muscular on or off the road. Known as the Geoseek Concepts, these 2 lean mean machines carry more than just pretty facades.
For starters, both models share a common pearl grey paint scheme. This solid monochrome theme is contrasted with bright orange trims on the lower body, bumper panels, side mirrors, and roof rails, and wheel rims. For the front end, the vehicles come with mesh-type grilles and a more prominent skid plate.
Of course, form follows function as those bigger roof racks provide a loading area for the outdoor gears to be strapped on. The same sporty demeanor continues inside with black interior trims and orange accents.
Here’s the thing. No one knows when these Geoseek concept vehicles (or at least the cosmetic upgrades for the regular Strada and ASX) will go into production as Mitsubishi is still secretive about it, but we’re optimistic that they’d give these a thumbs-up in the near future. Do note that the latest Strada and ASX base models are already out in the market, although the latter can only be seen in person if you’re living in the US… for now.
