Aside from dried mangoes and lechon, Cebu is known as one of the driving force in the local automotive industry. With that in mind, Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI) expanded its network by opening 2 dealerships in the Queen City of the South: Nissan Cebu South and Nissan Cebu Central.
NPI’s new dealerships in Cebu features the brand’s global visual identity dubbed as Nissan Retail Environment Design Initiative 2.1 (NREDI 2.1). Nissan’s NREDI 2.1 intends to unify different markets under one visual identity as well as enhance customer experience through premium comfort and innovative services.
In the past year, the Nissan brand has grown significantly in the region of Cebu…to continue to support this growth, we are very excited to be opening not just one, but two new NREDI compliant dealerships,” said NPI president and managing director Ramesh Narasimhan.
Nissan Cebu South and Nissan Cebu Central join other local showrooms such as Nissan Sucat, Nissan Quezon Ave., Nissan Marilao, and Nissan Iloilo featuring NREDI 2.1.
Nissan Cebu South has a lot size of more than 3,000 square meters and it is located at Highway Linao, Talisay City. It is open Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On the other hand, Nissan Cebu Central has a land area exceeding 5,000 square meters and it is located at A. Soriano Ave., North Reclamation Area, Cebu City. It is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during Sundays and Holidays.
Nissan Cebu South is under the management of Gateway Group while Nissan Cebu Central is under Autocentral Group.
Similar to other NREDI 2.1 local dealerships, Nissan Cebu South and Nissan Cebu Central has a total showroom area of 781 square meters, which is twice the size of a normal Nissan dealership. Expansive glass walls dominate the showroom’s façade while a spacious interior and Nissan’s iconic Red Tablet greets you inside. It can house around 8 to 10 vehicle display and has a premium customer lounge. NREDI 2.1 local dealerships also offers a 30-minute guaranteed Preventive Maintenance Service called Nissan Express Service.
In case you’re wondering, NPI registered a 48% sales growth for 2016, selling a total of 16,897 units as compared to the 11,420 units sold last 2015. With the 2 new dealerships in Cebu, NPI aims to further increase its unit sales.
